You can be baptized in the Holy Spirit now!·Acts 1:4-5,8 (KJV) 4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me. 5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence. 8 But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.2.   How do I receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit?

Realize that the Baptism of the Holy Spirit comes by faith just like salvation, healing or anything else received from God. God wants you to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit. ·

Luke 11:13 (KJV) 13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him? The Baptism of the Holy Spirit is an act of faith. You must step out in faith after you have asked to receive the Baptism of the Holy Spirit and begin to speak as the spirit gives you utterance.

In Acts 2:1-4 the Word never said that the Holy Spirit spoke in tongues or took them over and spoke; He is a gentleman. It says they spoke as the Spirit gave them the utterance. This means He told them what to say or how to say it; then they spoke the words. No one can tell you what to say or lead you in a language.

Acts 2:1-4 (KJV) 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. 2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting. 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
